Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site
The two-story frame house in which Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower was born has been restored to its 1890 appearance. Displays in the visitor center depict local history and Eisenhower's legacy. Lake Texoma Recreation Area
Lake Texoma Recreation Area lies along the Texas-Oklahoma border. The 89,000-acre Lake Texoma was created in 1944 with the construction of Denison Dam for flood control along the Red River.
