Graham was founded in 1872 by the Graham brothers from Kentucky who founded - Graham Brothers Salt Works. In 1874, when Young County was organized, Graham became the county seat. Today Graham is the hub of agribusiness, oil and gas extraction, and other industries in the county. Graham is noted for its collection of antique stores and antique auction houses. Nearby Possum Kingdom Lake is a popular spot for outdoor recreation with fishing, boating and other water sports.

Enjoy fishing, boating and camping at these two lakes connected by a canal. Located just two miles northwest of Graham TX off U.S. 380 west.
Old Post Office Museum and Fine Arts Center
Located on Graham's historic downtown square, this museum includes works from local artists and is used to exhibit special collections from Texas and national renowned artists.
